Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Rams

NFL Week 12: The Patriots Host the Cowboys in Heavyweight Game

A matchup between perennial Super Bowl contenders will take centre stage this Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys visit Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The odds on NFL Sunday favour the Pats, but this game, as well as many others in our NFL betting odds preview for Week 12, are ripe for potential upsets. Read on as we break down all of the NFL odds to help you prepare to bet on the NFL this weekend.

NFL Week 12 Best Odds and Matchups

Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots (Sunday, 4:25 PM ET)

Both the Cowboys (6-4 SU and ATS) and Patriots (9-1 SU, 7-3 ATS) rebounded from a loss in Week 10 with wins in Week 11 and they’ll be keen to continue in the right direction when they do battle in Foxborough on Sunday. Prescott passed for a massive 444 yards last week, but will he be able to do the same against the Patriots’ defense which leads the league in yards allowed per game (249.9)? The Patriots are 7-point favourites with a 45.5-point total.

Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (Sunday, 8:20 PM ET)

The San Francisco 49ers (9-1 SU, 5-4-1 ATS) beat the Cardinals (+11.5) last week with an impressive air game, led by QB Jimmy Garoppolo. The NFC North-leading Green Bay Packers’ (8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS) defense will be tested by San Fran and may make the difference, as the 49ers are 3-point favourites on the NFL lines.

Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Rams (Monday, 8:15 PM ET)

After demolishing the Houston Texans, the Ravens (8-2 SU, 5-5 ATS) will look to extend their win streak to seven straight on Monday Night Football when they face off against the Los Angeles Rams (6-4 SU, 7-3 ATS) as 3.5-point favourites. The Rams will need to find a way to block the Ravens’ run game, which put up 264 yards in Week 11, if they hope to survive. The total is 46.5.

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints (Sunday, 1 PM ET)

The Carolina Panthers (5-5 SU, ATS) were embarrassed by the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 in a game that saw QB Kyle Allen throw four interceptions. The Saints (8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS) were also upset by the Falcons as —14 favourites the week before, but managed to bounced back with a victory over the Buccaneers in Week 11. The Saints are laying 10 points on Sunday with a total of 47 on the board.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons (Sunday 1 PM ET)

This Sunday, the Bucs and Falcons will duke it out for last place in the NFC South. The Falcons (3-7 SU, 4-6 ATS) are winners of two straight and they’ll have a great chance to push that streak to three when they take on the Bucs (3-7 SU, 2-8 ATS). Atlanta is laying 4.5 points as the NFL betting favourites at home.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (Sunday, 4:05 PM ET)

Another divisional matchup will take place in Tennessee as the Titans (5-5 SU, 4-5-1 ATS) take on Nick Foles and the Jaguars (4-6 SU, 5-5 ATS). Foles’ return versus the Colts last week was disappointing, and oddsmakers don’t like their chances against the Titans, who’re favoured by 3 points.

Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 1 PM ET)

With just a 1.5—point spread favouring the Eagles (5-5 SU, 4-6 ATS), Sunday’s matchup with Seattle should be competitive. The Eagles have had an up-and-down season so far and are coming off of a loss to New England. Seattle will have the rest advantage going into Sunday, which could factor into the 48-point total.

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, 1 PM ET)

With both teams collectively scoring 38.3 points per game this season, the Broncos-Bills have the lowest total on the board for Week 12 at 37 points. Buffalo (7-3 SU, 6-3-1) has still managed to win games thanks to their third-ranked defense (304.1 YDS/G). Denver (3-7 SU, 6-4 ATS) lacks the firepower needed, and they’re 4-point road dogs as a result

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans (Thursday, 8:20 PM ET)

The Colts (6-4 SU, 5-4-1 ATS) beat the Texans 30-23 earlier this season, and Houston has gone on to win two of three since then. QB Jacoby Brissett and Deshaun Watson will battle again, but this time in Houston. The Texans (6-4 SU, 5-5 ATS) are favourites (—4), and the total is set at 45.5 points.

Oakland Raiders at New York Jets (Sunday, 1 PM ET)

Winners of their last three games, the Raiders (6-4 SU, ATS) are on the Kansas City Chiefs’ heels in the AFC West. They’ll get an opportunity to further improve their record against the New York Jets (3-7 SU, 4-6 ATS), who’ve managed to win their last two games. The Jets are 3-point home underdogs, with a 46.5-point total.
