How do I use my Bonus?
Your Withdrawable, Locked and Bonus amounts make up your Bodog account balance, which remains visible at the top of any page. With a bonus in play, keeping track of how the funds are removed from your account is simple.
First, you'll need to identify which type of bonus do you have:
- Deposit/Match Bonuses (redemption requires deposit).
- Cash/No Deposit bonuses (deposit not required)
Certain bonuses can only be used on games in the Casino or on a hand in Poker. This is specified in the 'Bonus Description' along with the rollover/playthrough requirement.
Deposit Bonus
When you redeem a deposit/match bonus, your deposit amount will be locked until the playthrough requirement on your bonus is completed. The deposit amount shows in your Locked Balance and to differentiate, the bonus amount reflects in your Bonus Balance.
When you place a bet, funds are deducted from your account in the following order:
For example:
You have a Withdrawal Balance of $130.33 from previous winnings. You deposit $30 on your account and claim a 200% match bonus. You receive $60 in bonus funds.
Your Account Balance will look like this:
When you place a $10 bet on your favorite sport, the funds are removed from your Withdrawable Balance first.
If your bet’s risked amount exceeds the Withdrawable Balance, the difference is taken from the next balance in the above-mentioned order.
For example:
You want to win bigger, so you bet $140.33 instead. Since you only have $130.33 in your Withdrawable balance, the difference will be subtracted from your next available balance - Locked Funds - as shown below:
Winnings generated from bets are distributed proportionately to the corresponding balances used.
Cash/No-Deposit Bonus
When you redeem a Cash/No-Deposit bonus, the bonus amount reflects in your Bonus Balance. Unless a deposit bonus is already active, the Locked Balance remains nil.
When you place a bet, funds are deducted from your account in the following order:
For example:
You receive a cash bonus of $35. You have a Withdrawable Balance of $20 from previous winnings.
Your Account Balance will look like this:
You place a $5 bet on your favorite sport, the funds will be removed from your Bonus Balance first.
If your bet’s risked amount exceeds the Bonus Balance, the difference is taken from the next balance in the above-mentioned order.
For example:
This time you bet $40 instead. Since you only have $35 in your Bonus Balance, the difference will be subtracted from your next available balance (Withdrawable Funds), as shown below:
Winnings generated from bets are distributed proportionately to the corresponding balances used.
