Stuck in Las Vegas on a layover? We’ve got you covered. From boozy brunches and foam parties to five-star dining and bottle service, here’s what you can do in less than 24 hours in Sin City.

You’ve got 24 hours to kill before your next flight so forget about hitting up the mediocre airport casino. McCarran International Airport is just 15 minutes away from the Strip, so flag down a cab and get ready for a wild time.

Booze and Brunch

Nothing beats starting the day off with a hearty meal and a few drinks to loosen up, so head over to the Overcook Grill on the fourth floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel. With a killer view of the strip, swing by for one of their Bottomless Brunches and enjoy your eggs with a side of bikini-clad babes, while guzzling back bottomless bottles of champagne that somehow keep finding their way to your table.

Get Wet and Wild

Ever heard of the expression “the earlier the dirtier”? In Sin City, regardless of the time there’s always a party happening, and there’s no better place to get crazy while the sun’s still shining than at one of Las Vegas’ many pool parties.

If it’s the weekend, Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Encore is the place to be. The party gets started around 10 AM and lasts through to the early evening. Though you may have to line up to get in, the out-of-control foam parties, poolside stripper poles and world-famous live DJ sets – think David Guetta – are totally worth the wait.

Get Your Game On

A stop in Vegas is never complete without hitting up a casino. Whether you want to spend your time spinning, shuffling or rolling, here are our two favourites.

Those looking for the ultimate Vegas gambling experience should hit up Caesars Palace, which offers up full-throttle gambling action in an impressive Roman setting. If you want to hit the tables, there are over 200 table game classics like blackjack, roulette, craps and baccarat. If you’re into slots, take your pick from over 1,300 slot machines ranging from the traditional three-reel slots to the more modern video poker, slot and blackjack machines.

Another casino worth checking out is the one located in the MGM Grand; it’s one of the largest on the strip. If you’re a slots player, you’ll be happy to know this casino’s progressives have paid out some of the largest jackpots in history. The Lion’s Share $2.4 million jackpot was recently triggered by a New Hampshire couple.

Eat While You Party

Make sure you end your layover with a bang at one of the best places to eat and party – Toa Nightclub.

Located in the Venetian, this multi-level “Asian City” houses both an award-winning Asian restaurant that serves up the best that Thailand, China and Japan have to offer, and a nightclub, consisting of multiple rooms playing every type of music you can think of. With a myriad of Buddha statues that grace the tables, and girls who lounge around covered in nothing but rose petals, you know you’re in for a good time. Whether you land a table and use the club’s bottle service, or opt for one of Tao’s Skyboxes to take in the scene from above, you’re in for an unforgettable night.
