What is a Wheeled bet?
Wheeled Bets allow you to wager on numerous combinations within the same race. You can choose more than one horse to finish in any position, and any number of other horses to finish in the remaining positions. For example:
- If you select the horse you think will win, but aren't certain about the second place finisher (or vice versa), you could place a Wheeled Exacta which involves selecting one horse along with several others. For example:
- If you wheel the #2 horse with the #3, #4 and #5 horses (2 /3,4,5), your bet will be graded as a win if the first two finishers are 2-3, 2-4 or 2-5. Conversely, if you wheel the #3, #4 and #5 horses with the #2 horse (3, 4, 5 / 2), your bet will be graded as a win if the first two finishers are 3-2, 4-2 or 5-2.
Your risk amount for a wheeled bet will be multiplied by the number of wheeled selections you make; using the examples above, you’ve added three wheeled selections, so your risk amount is multiplied by 3. Entering a $2 stake amount will result in a total risk amount of $6
