Golf Betting Rules
1. Futures wagers all have action regardless if the player competes or not.
2. Any outright wagers placed on players that do not tee off are void and the stakes are refunded.
3. A head-to-head golf bet is one where the sportsbook sets a line between two golfers that is completely independent of the overall results of the tournament field. Head-to-head wagers on players that do not tee off are void and stakes are refunded on both players in the head-to-head. In the event of a tie, bets will be void.
4. If a tournament is shortened, delayed or affected in any way, the official result will determine how to settle the bets, regardless of the number of rounds played.
5. A tournament must be completed within seven days of its start date in order for bets to have action.
6. For PGA head-to-head bets, the player who completes the most holes will be declared the winner. If both players complete the same number of holes, the winner will be determined based on the best score relative to par. In addition, both players must tee off for bets to have action.
7. For 3-ball bets, of the three participants, the player who has the lowest score in the round will be declared the winner. All three players must tee off for bets to have action. If two or more players finish in a tie, dead heat rules apply.
8. The 'Field' option will give you the choice of betting that anyone else wins EXCEPT the denoted golfer. It does not matter who wins, just that the golfer designated does not win. If a player in the field wins, the field is declared the winner for wagering purposes.
9. If a player is disqualified for any reason after a round is completed, all wagers on said round will be settled as a loss for that player.
10. The Dead Heat Rule: A Dead Heat is calculated by dividing the stake proportionally between the number of winners in the event. So, in a two-way Dead Heat (2 winners) for example, your return will be half of what it could have been. This can be referred to as half-face value of the bet, or a bet for half the original stake.
11. A player is deemed to have played (taken part) once they have tee'd off. In the event of A player is deemed to have played (participated) once they have tee’d off. In the event of a player withdrawing after having tee’d off, stakes will be lost on outright, group, match or 18-hole betting.
12. In 2-ball betting: If odds are not offered in the results of a tie, bets will be made void.
