European Blackjack or 21 (twenty-one), is similar to regular Blackjack. It is quick to learn the basics and playing blackjack is fun. The objective of European Blackjack is for a Player to come as close to 21 without going over, while still having a higher total than the Dealer. Prior to receiving any cards, the Player must place a wager. Once the wager is made, the Player is dealt two cards face up. The Dealer is dealt one card face up. The dealer does not receive a second (hole) card until after the player has made all his decisions, including doubling and splitting. If the total value of the Player's cards is closer to 21 than the Dealer, the Player wins as much as was wagered. The Player also wins if the Dealer goes over 21 and the Player has not busted.
European Blackjack is an exciting take on the popular casino table game. If you know how to play Blackjack and want to try something different, then you have to try European Blackjack.
In a traditional Blackjack game, the dealer receives both their face-up and hole card at the same time. In European Blackjack, the Dealer doesn’t receive a second card until you have made all of your decisions, including doubling and splitting. As far as winning goes, the objective is still the same: to come as close to 21 without going over, while still having a higher total than the Dealer. To receive your cards, first place your bet. The cards are dealt in rotation from the dealer, moving left-to-right. The dealer's hand features one card face up and one face down. You can then choose to receive more cards for your hand or showdown and see whose come closest to 21 without going over.
