The gameplay is user-friendly, as you simply need to choose your level of difficulty, bet amount, and then drop your line into the depths of the frozen lake. If you can hook one of the game’s 13 different fish, it’ll emerge with a guaranteed Multiplier attached.

There are three levels to choose from, with the easiest level providing lots of lower-paying prizes, and the hardest level being where you’ll need to fight to land the game’s top prizes. You can switch back and forth on each play, meaning all you need to do is focus on keeping warm and reeling in your prizes.

At any time during the base game, you can switch up the challenge by clicking one of the three artificial lures on the left. The easiest level is indicated by one star, and here you can catch more fish, though with smaller payouts. The three-star level is for those willing to work to hook a major payday. 

 

Wide Range of Fish Multipliers

Not all fish are created equal in Winter Fishing Day, as catching a minnow will award you a modest 0-1x Multiplier, where landing the monster catfish will pay you from 100x to 3,000x your bet! There are loads of intermediate fish like yellow perch and rainbow trout to catch as well while you hunt for the big boys. 

 

Two Trophies

On every catch, your fish will be immortalized with an instant snapshot. Catch something spectacular and you might be commemorated with a pair of trophies – one for highest Multiplier and the other for highest total payout.
