Following a wild first week in the NFL, Week 2 is underway with a ton of betting props available. With the performance of Minnesota QB Sam Bradford impending, the top coaches on the chopping block listed on the board, the potential for a 4-0 New England start and a total for Broncos’ roughing-the-passer penalties, you can bet on how you think these events will roll out.

Sam Bradford: Total Passing Yards

Over/Under: 230.5

The Minnesota Vikings acquired Sam Bradford just a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like he’ll be getting his first start this week. While management is waiting until Sunday to make an official announcement, reports indicate Bradford has taken almost all of the first-team reps and is set to start.

Oddsmakers project that Bradford will be in the 230.5-yard range and while that number might seem low, the Vikings tend to run their offense through Adrian Peterson and the ground game. They averaged just 183.0 passing yards per game last season (31st in the NFL). Combined with the fact that Bradford is still relatively new to the system, we could see a fairly conservative offensive approach from Minnesota.

Which NFL Head Coach will be Fired First?

We’re just one week into the new season and a number of head coaches are on the hot seat already. Los Angeles Rams coach Jeff Fisher is the +200 favourite to get fired first because he hasn’t been able to develop a competent offense during his tenure. The Rams have been a middling team during his time and struggled big time in Week 1, getting shut out in San Francisco.

Mike McCoy is next in line at +500. His Chargers have just two wins in their last 13 games. They got off on the wrong foot in Week 1, blowing a 17-point fourth quarter in Kansas City, which led to their ninth straight AFC West loss.

Rex Ryan (+700), Dan Quinn (+900) and Gus Bradley (+1000) are the remaining contenders to get a pink slip. It’s no coincidence that each of these coaches’ teams lost in Week 1.

Total Roughing-the-Passer Penalties Committed by the Broncos in Week 2

Over/Under: 0.5

The Denver Broncos won their season opener, but many of the recap headlines focused on how physical their defense was with Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton. They hit him at every turn, sacking him three times while hitting him eight other times. A couple of those hits resulted in fines this week.

While the Broncos weren’t flagged for a roughing-the-passer call last week, the referees may monitor them closer this week when the Broncos host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Will the Patriots Start the Season 4-0?

Yes: +170
No: -250

Heading into Week 1, few people believed the Patriots could manage a 4-0 start. Tom Brady was and still is suspended, and the Patriots were starting an unknown commodity at quarterback. However, Jimmy Garoppolo looked steady against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, leading the team to a 23-21 victory. If the Pats can win on the road in Arizona, which is one of the toughest places to play, they may pull off a 4-0 start. This week, the Patriots host the Miami Dolphins.
