How does the Bet Slip work?

Once you’ve created one or more bets in the Racebook, they will appear in the Bet Slip alongside a default stake value.

Unlike the Sportsbook, creating a bet in the Racebook will automatically remove the selection from the race entries table. This makes it easy to place multiple bets from the same race entries table.

Modifying a Bet

Let’s say you realise you meant to choose horses 1 and 4 instead of horses 1 and 3 in the exacta you placed. You can change the details of your bet by clicking on ‘Modify Bet’ in the Bet Slip found right below the selection you wish to change. From there, you must remove the bet from the Bet Slip, select the same race and wager type, re-create the selections from the race entries table and then re-add the bet to the Bet Slip.

Placing a Bet

Once you’ve made your selections, click on the 'Review Bet' button. You’ll then be asked to log in if you haven’t already, and your account will be checked for sufficient funds. At this point, you will have the option to officially place your bet (‘Place Bet’) or return to an open Bet Slip (‘Change Bets’), should you want to make any further changes.

Once you’ve clicked on the 'Place Bet' button, and your bets have been accepted and successfully stored in your account, a confirmation screen will appear.

To return to an open Bet Slip, click on ‘Continue betting’. To view a summary of your recent bets, click on the 'My Bets' tab (you can change the display to see open bets, settled bets or both). To return to the Bet Slip view, click on the 'Bet Slip' tab.
