Super Bowl 54 Cross-Sport Parlay Betting
It’s time to level up your Super Bowl experience by indulging in lucrative parlays on your bet slip. A parlay involves combining multiple bets into one for a much bigger payout than what’s possible from winning straight bets. This sky-high payout is possible because of the risk inherent in parlay betting: all bets must win in order for the parlay to win, and when they do, you get to experience the beauty of true odds for payouts.
While the standard parlay includes the spread and total from a game, many more interesting combinations are possible. For one, cross-sport parlays make dreams come true by letting you capitalize on multiple leagues simultaneously. You could combine the Super Bowl LIV betting odds with some NHL odds or NBA odds for example. We’ll go over five games that could make for an epic Super Bowl 54 cross sport parlay at Bodog Sportsbook.
NHL Betting Options
Mix in a little hockey with your Super Bowl parlay for the best of both worlds in major league sports.
Vancouver Canucks at Carolina Hurricanes 2 PM ET
After two months of mediocre play that threatened their postseason, the Vancouver Canucks (28-18-3-1) have gone on a tear, winning 12 of 15 games since December 19 and putting themselves in the top spot in the Pacific Division. On Super Bowl Sunday, they travel to Raleigh to face the Hurricanes (29-18-3-0) who are clinging to a wild card berth after starting the season on top of the league. Despite having good stats on both sides of the ice, the ‘Canes have dropped the ball in critical matchups against division rivals and are struggling to fill the void left by injured Dougie Hamilton.
Columbus Blue Jackets at Montreal Canadiens 2 PM ET
After splitting their first two in the season, the Columbus Blue Jackets (27-16-6-2) and Montreal Canadiens (22-22-6-1) will meet on Super Bowl Sunday to settle the score. Columbus is still without starting netminder Joonas Korpisalo, who underwent surgery for a torn meniscus on December 30. Back up Elvis Merzlikins is performing admirably in his absence, leading the team to a 9-2-1 record. Montreal’s starting goaltender, Carey Price, has struggled with an up and down season and will need to find a way to string together some major win streaks to make it to the postseason.
NBA Betting Options
These are just two of the four NBA games scheduled for February 2 that can be combined with your Super Bowl odds on your bet slip.
Chicago Bulls at Toronto Raptors 3 PM ET
Currently sitting in second place in the Eastern Conference, the defending champs have proven that they can succeed without Kawhi Leonard on their roster. Toronto (33-14) has impressed with wins over the LA Lakers and Utah Jazz, and they’ve already put away the Chicago Bulls (19-31) twice this season. Chicago came close in their more recent matchup on December 9, losing 93-92 after a tight four quarters. The Bulls’ main points contributor that night was Zach LaVine with 20 compared to Toronto’s Pascal Siakam with 22.
Milwaukee Bucks at Phoenix Suns 2 PM ET
You can bet on the Bucks (41-6) to continue dominating the league, or the Suns (20-27) to pull and upset for one of the legs of your Super Bowl parlay. The Bucks have put together some incredible win streaks this season, including an 18-game streak that went from November 10 to December 14. They have yet to face the Phoenix Suns, who’ve broken out a new lineup that resulted in a 133-104 pummeling of the Dallas Mavericks on January 28.
NCAAB Betting Option
One very important matchup is happening in NCAAB that’s worth your betting consideration.
Illinois Fighting Illini at Iowa Hawkeyes 1 PM ET
Two Top-25 ranked opponents in college hoops will face off on Super Bowl Sunday in a critical inter-conference showdown. The Big Ten has dominated the league this season and has six ranked teams as we go to press. Illinois (15-5) is just one spot behind Iowa (15-5) in the rankings, so their game will have wide-sweeping implications for both teams. Illinois shares the best Big Ten record (7-2) with Michigan State, while Iowa is a step behind at 6-3. Iowa’s centre Luka Garza is performing at a level that eclipses Illinois’ top players by a long shot.
